Jean Chesser Obituary

Margaret Jean Chesser, 87, of Baltimore, MD, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Ministries in Emmitsburg, MD. Born March 22, 1932 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Asbury Ashburne and the late Sallie Fallin. She was the wife of the late William Chesser.

Jean was an accountant with the Baltimore City Public School Board. She enjoyed playing Bridge and was an avid golfer.

Surviving are her daughter, Kimberly Wivell and husband Perry of Emmitsburg; grandsons, Donald Greyson and wife Dawn of Buffalo, NY and Kendall Blaylock and wife Courtney of Starkville, MS; great-grandchildren, Connor Blaylock and Tierney Greyson; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by all five of her sisters, Elizabeth Travis, Nettie Trail, Frances Bowen, Carol Riba and Patricia Davis.

Arrangements are private. The family is being assisted by Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Emmitsburg.
