Obituary
On September 9, 2023 Bernard “Bo” Burtnick passed away at the age of 87. Born in Baltimore, MD to the late Siemore and Gertrude Burtnick. Bo proudly attended School #59 and Baltimore City College. Bo also lived in Peachtree City, GA, Monticello NY, Riverview FL, Great Cacapon, WV and in most recent years Westminster, MD. Beloved father of Debra L. Harris and her husband Frank of Westminster and Mike Burtnick and his wife Karen of Great Cacapon, WV. Loving sister Eileen (Burtnick) Roche of Westminster, MD. Cherished grandfather of 5. Corey (Beth) & Ronald (Samantha) Schuette, Tyler (Brittany), Colby (Jillian) & and Casey Burtnick and great grandfather of 7. Kenzie, Andrew, Brody, Hunter, Savannah, Samuel, and Stephen.
Bo especially enjoyed any time spent with his family and sharing his stories! He could always be found shining up his 1988 Lincoln Town Car and was always quick to offer his neighbors at Timber Ridge a ride. In May he proudly received his Freemasonry 60-year pin with the Amicable St. John’s Lodge #25.
His larger-than-life personality & his unique voice will surely be missed.
