Dolores (Frock) Piggott

     Joan Dolores Piggott, 89, of Hanover, PA, formerly of Westminster, and Fredericksburg, VA went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at UPMC Hanover Hospital in Hanover, PA after a brief illness. Born November 7, 1931, Dolores was the daughter of the late George Malcolm Frock and Catherine Anna Frock, nee Wilson. She was the beloved wife of Fenton L. Piggott.

     Dolores graduated from New Windsor High School, worked for a short period of time at Newman’s Book Store, had a career in banking, retiring in 1997.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved vacationing in Florida, reading, watching old westerns, and playing bingo.  She was a member of St. Benjamin’s Lutheran Church.

     Surviving in addition to her husband are her siblings, Wayne Frock of Littlestown, PA, Ronald Frock of Westminster, and Kathy L. Schaeffer and her husband Tim of Manchester, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  In addition to her parents, Dolores was predeceased by her brother Terry Frock.

The family will receive friends 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, November 15, 2021, at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster (21157) where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. with her Pastor David Schafer.
