Lucinda Ellen (Gue) Reaver

Lucinda Ellen Reaver, 89, of Taneytown, MD died Sunday July 24, 2022, at Lorien in Taneytown. Born September 17, 1932 in New Market, MD, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Georgia (Burke) Gue. She was the loving & devoted wife of the late Harry Glenn Reaver, her husband of over 64 years.

Lucinda was a clothing presser. She was a longtime member of Piney Creek Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school, Vacation Bible School and sang in the choir. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are a son Steven Eugene Reaver and Fiancée Cindy Speak of Littlestown; a daughter Terry Stambaugh of Gettysburg; grandchildren, Ryan Stambaugh and wife Amy, Shannon Franklin and husband Justin, Tracie Konigsbauer and husband Jason; great grandchildren Grady, Josie, RJ, Jenna and Peyton; a brother Carl Gue and wife Grace; numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents Earl and Georgia; her husband Glenn; great grandchild Jolie; brother James Gue; sisters Lillie Gibson and Violet Pearce. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday August 3, 2022 at Piney Creek Presbyterian Church, 4472 Harney Rd, Taneytown, MD with the Rev. H. Paul Matthews, III officiating.  Interment will follow in Piney Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.  Arrangements are by Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown.
