Patrick Kiernan Obituary

Patrick John “Pat” Kiernan, 73, of Cascade, MD, was found deceased on Monday, July 26, 2021 at his home. Born November 6, 1947 in New York, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Molloy) Kiernan.

Pat attended St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY, where he played basketball and baseball. He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. He worked for Toyota Financial Services, and had retired from there. He enjoyed porch-sitting and listening to oldies music. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.

Surviving are his son, Ryan Kiernan of Taneytown; daughter, Kendall Kiernan of Baltimore; grandchildren, Jade and Rowan Kiernan; and his beloved dog, Smokey.

A memorial service to celebrate Pat’s life will be arranged and announced at a future date. Memorial contributions in Pat’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Dr., Memphis, TN, 38105.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown, MD.
