Richard Bardach Obituary

     Richard Neil Bardach, age 68, of Westminster, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. Born July, 3, 1955, he was the son of the late Meyer H. and Ann (Guss) Bardach. He was the husband of Mary B. (Simone) Bardach.

     Rich was a certified jewelry appraiser and Gemologist, with advanced degrees in Gemology. He was a member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers. He enjoyed playing racquet ball and golf. He loved traveling, watching Maryland Terrapins basketball, Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles. Bird photography became a favorite hobby in recent years.

     Surviving are his wife, Mary; sons, William Thwaits, Jr., Edward Thwaits; daughter Christine Heilman and husband Robert; grandchildren, Brayden Thwaits, Michael Thwaits, Ashley Heilman, Amanda Thwaits, and Alyssa Thwaits; great-grandchildren, Harlow, Sawyer and Kennedy; brother, Andrew Bardach and wife Lisa; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rich was predeceased by his parents.

     A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, 1pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD 21157.
